Them ~ Me

To
My Family
For their abundant support,
for their patience and understanding,
And for their unconditional love.

To
Her
For her sisterly warmheartedness,
for her loyalty and honesty,
for her trustworthiness with my hopes, my dreams, my fears and my worries,
And for her caring dedication to showing me passion, excitement and joy.

To
Him
For his faithful belief,
for his honorable nature,
for his inspirational devotion to intellect,
for his admirable generosity and strength.
And for his guidance in loving concern.

Faithful dreams do not drown

In a godforsaken town,
Where dreams are set to drown.
Unlawful and full of theft,
Yet there we were placed and left.
Sometimes It gets lonesome,
For it is roofless and loathsome.
I don't stay below most water,
For I am blessed to be a daughter.
And always with me is my sacred love,
Sent from heaven up above.

Forbidden fruit

The warning said they would surely die if they tasted the forbidden fruit. True.
The Serpent replied this would only happen if the desire of the Soul receives it selfishly, for itself alone. True.
One must receive for the sake of sharing.
However, taking the first bite was not a problem - at first. For it was an angelic Sharing of light.
It is that after the first bite, the soul's desire for it multiplies enormously, becoming bound by a strong craving for more while a Self-interest was awakened. One that will have you wind up in a darkness.

The key is not to resist the light, for there is a Light that shares and a Soul that receives. Embrace and know, truly know in your heart, what the generous nature means and how to let it flow before you decide to receive any light prematurely.

Our soul and essence are the embodiment of Love

When we get our whole world...
Until the rest of our days I will be your best friend.
I will share your moments, your days, and your years.
I will share your joys and sorrows, your successes and failures, your dreams and your fears.
When you are ill, I will take the best care of you.
When you need help, I will do all I can for you.
When you have a secret, I will keep it.
When you need advice, I will give you the best advice.
I will always be with you.
When you wake up in the morning, the first thing your eyes will see will be mine. During the day, I will be with you. If for a moment I am is not with you, I will be thinking of you, praying for you with all my heart, mind, and soul. When you go to sleep at night, the last thing your eyes will see is mine and when you are asleep you will still see me in your dreams.
When I am your whole world and you are my whole world.

In loving memory of my cat

"Slinky Malinki was blacker than black,
a stalking and lurking adventurous cat.
He had bright yellow eyes, a warbling wail
and a kink at the end of his very long tail.

He was cheeky and cheerful, friendly and fun,
he'd chase after leaves and he'd roll in the sun.
But at night he was wicked and fiendish and sly.
Through moonlight and shadow he'd prowl and he'd pry."

To wonder about wandering mist

Maybe you are never alone,
Maybe you never wander on your own,
Maybe you are walking in a forest, or by a peaceful river.
Angels always surround you, and maybe friends are always there.
But maybe too dark a place makes it difficult to see, to not see.
To see what is not there, and to not see what is there...

Maybe someone lights up a candle just for you,
and candle light goes a long long way,
But candle lights dont last that long, do they?
And so if you must walk in a dark place,
maybe next time, bring the light with you.

Every empty park bench has a story

Out in a small rugged old town there is a park with alot of life. It has a park bench where two old friends once used to sit and both giggle and silent away.

Towards the end of each day, a man sits on it alone. He listens to the birds whistle and sing, watches the children play and observes the people walking on the park trail.

Meanwhile, surrounding the trail and bench wanders a little girl with starry curious eyes in the grassy field. She is seeking flowers, the first signs of spring flowers. People always tell her that it is far too early on and that she will never find any flowers, yet she keeps looking for them.

Unnoticed, this little girl walks up to the man and asks
'Why are you talking to the wind?'.
He looks a little startled but shortly responds kindly
- 'Because the wind carries prayers'.

And as the girl grew up, she carried that with her and nowadays the spring flowers are always there in time for her.
